Wynne Lee is an Original One of a Kind doll created by Ellen Harris. No molds were used in making any part of her. She stands about 36" tall. Her head with attached shoulder plate was directly sculpted of Paperclay. Her arms extend well above the elbow. Her lower legs and sneakers are hand sculpted of Paperclay as well, detailed with lace holes and tongue flaps. The laces are real, attached as if laced through the holes and the tops can be tied in bows. Her eyes are hand sculpted and hand painted. Wynne Lee's body is stuffed fabric over a supportive armature. Her wig is human quality acrylic in beautiful curly dreads. Her skin, features and sneakers are painted with artist colors protected by layers of resin sealer coating and have that special painted quality of rich texture, brush strokes and the odd thumbprint of the artist here and there. She is signed and dated on the back of her shoulder plate. Wynne Lee's earrings are really gold. She can wear 2X toddler clothing and in fact has on real kids' clothes. Her GAP overalls have been handpainted in bright colors. Her white turtleneck is from the GAP, too, and her embroidered and beaded sweater is by Guess For Kids. Her striped socks are from The Children's Place; the red stripes matching beautifully to her cherry red sneaks. She has a bracelet her grandmother gave her, with "silver" charms. She comes with her cream colored stand.
